    Almost 26.000 students from more than 140 different countries study at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. It has campuses in and around The Hague: The Hague itself, Zoetermeer and Delft.

    When we visit a company in the food sector it usually isn’t a weekday visit. The hygiene requirements are -logically- stricter than in other companies. The production area of Nutricia, where we performed a pre-installation WLAN site survey, was no exception in this matter.

    Luik (Belgium) – It is almost impossible to imagine the world today without WLAN. Even patients in nursing homes want to stay involved. CHC asked a pre-installation site survey for the total group. Divisions Saint Charles, Les Peupliers, Saint Joseph and La Vierge des Pauvres already had a visit from us.
    CHC is a hospital group based near Liège (Belgium). It brings together six clinics, polyclinics, nursing homes and a nursery. The group has 1,045 acute beds, 30 beds MSP (psychiatric home) and 684 residential beds for the elderly. It employs 4,000 people and employs more than 800 physicians and independent providers.

    Tienen (Belgium) – ‘Can you fix our WLAN network?’, asked Blankedale Tienen. With a validation site survey we currently map all of the WLAN problems and fix the major issues. The first step-up in their network is ensured. Afterwards Blankedale will receive an advising report to improve and maximise the WLAN coverage.
    At Blankedale, we aim to create a workplace that enables people with a disability to develop their professional skills as effectively as possible. We make every effort to facilitate maximum development, integration and independence for our employees.

    Diest (Belgium) – Advanced Networks advised optimisations for the telemetry monitoring system of Dräger in AZ Diest. This system is specifically used for (heart) monitors. It will be used at the intensive care unit of the hospital.
    This hospital has two campuses: Statiestraat and Hasseltsestraat. Recently AZ Diest, Heilig Hart Tienen, UZ Leuven and Heilig Hart Leuven decided to work more intensive together. The outcome? Medical care in the region will be well-balanced.

    Heilig Hart Tienen is a regional hospital with three campuses: Mariëndal, St-Jan and Medisch Centrum Aarschot. It has a rich history and a vibrant present with over 300 beds, 185.000 annual consultations and 10.000 days of hospitalisation per year.

This global network is called Syntrophos Shared Service Center. Advanced Networks did a pre-installation site survey in public buildings such as community centres and a theater.
    These three local authorities decided to work together on a common system. By combining efforts they will get an equal result: more quality at lower costs.

    Jolymon (Belgium) – Why the hospital of Lobbes asked Advanced Networks to come over? To advise and optimize the telemetry monitoring system of Dräger. This system is specifically used for (heart) monitors. It is often used in hospitals and retirement homes.
    The hospital of Lobbes is a general hospital and is a part of the Group Jolimont. The hospitals of Jolimont and Lobbes provide 714 beds, 185.000 days of hospitalisation and 315.000 consultations on an annual base. More than 23.000 persons stay at the institutions per year.

    The new sorting centre is an impressive hub near Brussels Airport. DHL is the global market leader in the logistics industry. The courier service will expand operations at the airport. DHL will be able to process nearly 40.000 shipments per hour instead of 12.000. Also, this new hub will result in new and more employment.

    Brussels (Belgium) – The Flemish government is building a whole new construction. Wi-Fi is absolutely necessary in the new Herman Teirlinckbuilding. ADV already performed a predictive site survey and a WLAN site survey. Very soon, we will install the access points and finalise the total WLAN project with a validation site survey.
    The new Herman Teirlinckbuilding is located near Thurn & Taxis in Brussels. A wide range of public services will be accomodated in the construction that consists of 13 floors.

    Zwevegem (Belgium) – Residential care facility Sint-Amand selects us as partner for their global WLAN project. They requested a site survey some time ago, and we succesfully installed the Acces Points. Making sure the Wi-Fi is optimal, we will do a Validation site survey with RF tuning.
    This residential care facility accomodates 149 people. Patients can stay for a short or longer period of time. Sint-Amand lays in the center of Zwevegem.

Their concern was the ability to call through Wi-Fi at the campus in Ruiselede. We performed a site survey and turned their question into reality. Currently, we are making the same thing happen at the other two campuses in Beernem and Wingene.
    Campus Ruiselede is a part of Community institution De Zande and has a capacity of 54 places for boys between 12 and 18 years old. The main objective is to let the youngster overthink his situation, giving him structure and helping him in his search for a new future.

    Herstal (Belgium) – During our WLAN site survey at the André Renard hospital we measured for telemetry. That means certain parameters, in this case cardiac rhythm, are measured from a distance. Those data are sent through a wireless connection to a different location.

    The communication of the cardiac monitoring goes through Wi-Fi. Therefore it is really important to have a very reliable signal that is strong enough. With a good coverage of Wi-Fi Access Points in the hospital we made that happen.
    The André Renard hospital is part of the larger Solidarisgroup. They integrate progessive structures that are based on a humanist vocation.

    Zaventem (Belgium) – Brussels Airport is a well-attended hub for tourists, business passengers and cargo. For this economic power house Wi-Fi is utterly important to keep business going. We currently work on improving Wi-Fi by performing a WLAN site survey.
